What you should know before adopting a cat / kitten?
Hello! I am thinking of adopting a cat / kitten, wondering what some of the cons were for owning a cat or a kitten. How often vomit hairballs? How dirty? Are usually a bad mood? I wonder what people should consider before getting a cat because I'm not sure if getting one would be a good decision.
I think cats can be wonderful pets, because they require less training than the dogs. However, do not assume you can leave the cat home alone most of the time or do not really need to give love. I think they have understand that having a pet is like having a child, not only need to provide your pet food, water and shelter, we should also give them much love and attention. If you are rarely home, and just want to have a pet for the sake of having a pet, then I suggest that not having a pet. But if you think that you're willing to commit a pet (especially cats) for 15 to 20 years of his life, love and take good care of them, then it will be very useful if you can provide a homeless cat a home filled love. I brush my short hair cat twice day, and I have not seen him throw balls of hair from which adopted three months ago.
